Project: Indefinite Quantity Task Order Contract, Construction Management Services Primarily Within the Limits of the New Orleans District
Description: Cooley Dennis and Denmon Engineering, Inc. (CDD) is providing Construction Quality Assurance (QA) services to the New Orleans District as part of a Joint Venture with ECM of Metairie, Louisiana under a $65 million contract for Construction Management services Primarily within the limits of them New Orleans District. Project types include maintenance dredging on the Mississippi River, fronting protection for a pumping station, levee enlargements, repair of a pile dike, structure stabilization and scour protection, a drainage structure with levees, and a sand cell embankment. Some of the example projects for which quality assurance services are being provided by CDD under this Joint Venture contract are listed below:
- Maintenance dredging, Cutter Head Dust Pan Dredge, Mississippi River, Southwest Pass, Mile 5.0 AHP to Mile 19.5 BHP, Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. Construction Cost: $7.5 million.
- Hurricane Protection Levee, Lake Cataouatche Pump Station to Segnette State Park. Construction Cost: $18 million.
- Hurricane Protection Levee, West Bank and Vicinity, Lake Cataouatche Western Tie-in, WBV, Sand Cell Embankment. Construction Cost: $881,000.
- Fronting Protection, West Minster Pump Station, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. Construction Cost: $13.7 Million.
- Western Tie-in Levee, Davis Pond Fresh Water Diversion Channel to U. S. Highway 90. Construction Cost: $5.3 million.
- Stabilization and Scour Protection, Phase I Repair at South Lafourche Crawfish Farms Pumping Station, Lafourche Parish, Louisiana. Construction Cost: $4.4 million.
- Lake Pontchartrain and Vicinity, St. Jose Drainage Structure and Levee, Phase II, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana. Construction Cost: $6.4 million.
- Pile Dike Repair, Mississippi River Southwest Pass, Louisiana. Construction Cost: $34.8 million.
- Jefferson Parish Lake Front Levee, Reach II, Third Lift, Phase I, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. Construction Cost: $3.6 million.
