  • LGM-020B Golden Meadow Pump Station, Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, for the New Orleans District, Corps of Engineers

pumping_3This contract involved demolishing the existing floodwall and building a new floodwall approximately 2.5 feet higher. The work also involved driving sheet piling almost 50 feet into the ground, earth work, electrical rehabbing and rewiring the pump station, and replacing the pump discharge.

  • WBV-16.2 – Bayou Segnette Complex (Pump Station), Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, for the New Orleans District, Corps of Engineers

pumping_4The Bayou Segnette Complex included a 400 CFS pump station.  Construction of the new pumping station included installation of support piles and sheet piles, placement of structural concrete, construction of the pump station building, installation of the pumps and mechanical equipment, construction of a trash rack with mechanical cleaning equipment, and associated architectural work. >> See full description >>>>



  • LGM -028A South Lafourche Crawfish Farm Pump Station Discharge, Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, for the New Orleans District, Corps of Engineers

pumping_5The work consisted of clearing and grubbing; driving steel sheet piling; structural excavation and compacted fill; driving steel H piles in an A-frame; select demolition; concrete scour protection; separator geotextile fabric; partially painting steel sheet piling; W-shapes and H-piling; maintenance of access roads; modifications to existing utilities and turf establishment and  maintenance.

  • LPV-07c.2 – St. Rose Drainage Structure and Levee Phase 2, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana, for the New Orleans District, Corps of Engineers

The contract consisted of constructing a new gated structure on the flood side of the existing structure and about 580 feet of floodwall.  The floodwall is a combination of the drainage structure in the center, flanked on each side by concrete T-walls and uncapped steel sheet pile I-walls.  The contract also included earthen stability berms, scour pads and scour protection at the levee/I-wall transitions.
